Keeping a constant eye on your child is impossible, and sometimes a child’s curiosity can get the better of them. Lilies and Ivy are two common plant types that are harmful to humans, so if your home style includes either of these flora, it may be best to remove them from the home.
3. Plastic bags
Many snacks and toys that are marketed to children come in a plastic bag that isn’t safe for babies and toddlers. The next time you hand your child a snack, make sure that the bag is safe for them. Some tips include bringing a paper bag or plastic cup to pour the snack into first before handing it off.
4. Pet Food
Raising a dog or cat alongside your child will undoubtedly keep you busy. But make sure that if your pet leaves any food in their bowl that it’s in a safe place away from your child. While it may be nutritious for your furry friend, your child could become seriously sick if they decide to reach into the bowl and try some for a snack.
